Reber Rock Farm is an 120-acre draft powered farm on the southern edge of the Reber Valley in Essex, NY. Using our draft horses for field preparation, cultivation and harvesting we produce grassfed beef, pasture raised pork, chicken and turkey, herbs, vegetables, spelt, corn, dry beans, garlic, shiitake mushrooms and a plethora of value-added products including sunflower oil, maple syrup, pickles, sauces and frozen vegetables.
Our goal is to produce delicious, healthy, affordable food for the Essex foodscape and beyond. We work with draft horses because we believe their presence on the farm is good for the land, the air and our souls. Reber Rock is designed as a two-family farm, with the management and labor burden split across two couples, so that each can stay health and happy for many years to come.
We're a diversified farm, seeking a diversified livelihood. Our products are available for sale year round in our Farm Store. Custom Meats can be ordered in the spring for delivery in the Fall. Forest Management services and Draftwood orders taken at any time. Suffolk Punch Draft horse sales upon availability.

Fire Recovery : Gofundme.com Barn Support
On February 27th, 2016, Reber Rock Farm's newly-raised barn caught fire and burned to the ground. In the fire, Reber Rock Farm lost a newborn calf, their laying hens, tools, equipment, hay, and grain. Their livestock guardian dog, Piggles, was injured .
RRF is so thankful for the outpouring of support from their caring community; many many people have already done so much, and others are asking how they can help. Funds given here will help RRF rebuild the barn and replace equipment, supplies and animals lost or damaged in the fire.
Any and all gifts are greatly appreciated. Please help them get back to doing what they love so they can give back to that same loving community.
